Good Morning Everyone Happy Wednesday to you all…..

Great news! we will all be seeing each other again very soon with schools reopening again next week.

We are making use of left over food and trying to reduce the amount of food we are wasting this week.

We are going to make this lovely tasty Hot Pot using leftover potatoes
Using some lean mince,a carrot,an onion, a stock pot and half a cup of water.place all into a non-stick pan.
Cook all these ingredients gently until the carrots are cooked.Add in a tablespoon of tomato puree
Add some gravy granules to add flavour and thicken
This is what the mixture looks like when it is ready to move onto the next stage.
I added some frozen peas ,these add colour and additional nutrition.
Place the meat mixture into an oven proof casserole dish.
Your next job is to peel the cooked leftover potatoes,DO THIS TASK WITH GREAT CARE!ALWAYS CUT AWAY FROM YOURSELF.
Always use your waste bowl ,it keeps the work area looking clean and tidy.(like we do at school)
Slice the potatoes.
Arrange the potatoes on top of the meat.Place in the oven for 20/30 mins

I grated a little bit of cheese on top, which was left in the bottom of the fridge.

Here are some useful video to watch.
