Hi Everyone! We are delighted to be up and running with our weekly Creative Challenges and starting to receive some wonderful entries. Here we share some of the highlights from our Week 1 challenge which saw our students getting creative with their Photography and Visual Art.
We can’t wait to see what comes in for our Week Two challenge. Keep an eye on our Creative blog and keep sending those Masterpieces in to Aisling at firstname.lastname@example.org
On Tuesday we posted everyone a packet of sunflower seeds. Mrs Kennedy has given you instructions in ‘Hello from the garden‘ to sow and care for these seeds. When they have grown you will have a great display and we can share the photos and measure them to see which is the tallest!
Starting next Monday (30th March) RTE’s Home School Hub will broadcast on RTE2 between 11 and 12, Monday to Friday, with RTE’s Home School Extra broadcasting in the afternoons at 4.10.
RTE have said that the 1 hour programme will be interactive and the 15-minute “catch-up” afternoon slot will be used as an opportunity for children to share their ideas and creations with others.
This initiative has been developed with the support of the Department of Education and Skills, and will be presented by teachers in a real classroom. Work sheets and support materials will be available at https://www.rte.ie/learn/
You have been sent a suggestion that all people should be encouraged to
keep a diary of all places they visit and a list of the people they have
physical contact with on a daily basis.
If this is taken on board, it would reduce the workload of those working
tirelessly with the job of Contact Tracing in the weeks ahead.
If this message was sent to all Groups, Clubs, Societies and all in turn
sent this message to all their members this would make a big difference
in identifying people who needed to be contacted and reduce the
workload of Contact Tracing.
I hope that you will pass on this message to family and friends
