GARDENING WEEK – This week we are inviting you to take photos of your garden, something you have planted, maybe it is your favourite spot, slide, seat, swing. Send your photos to me on gmccabe@stbrigids.net. Here is a picture of the carrots we planted in March, aren’t they growing well? Three out of four isn’t bad, I don’t know what happened the pot on the left , they never grew.

THEME — STEM CHALLENGES (Science Technology Maths Engineering)

This week I am challenging you to create your name using household items or LEGO , jenga blocks, pegs , knives and so on. I have emailed the STEM challenge booklet, you can scroll through it and decide on other challenges. Keep it for reference over the summer if you get bored.

THEME Water safety SPHE / PE

We are doing water safety at home, on the farm and at the pool this week. Please teach your child their EIR CODE and number to dial for emergency 999 or 112.

Listen to the presentation on why you should learn water safety. A child can drown in 6cm of water!!! Watch out when children are in paddling pools or in the bath.
